The contaminated material has to be removed because of its toxicity.<br \/>\nOther examples for environmental toxic substances are wood preservatives like pentachlorophenol or lindane, which are forbidden due to their toxicity. These substances are detectable <span style=\"line-height: 20.7999992370605px;\">for instance<\/span>\u00a0in air or dust.<br \/>\nFrom September 30th, 2016, insolation panels containing HBCDD are considered as hazardous waste by the <a href=\"http:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32016R0460&amp;from=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Commission Regulation (EU) 2016\/460<\/a>. The concentration limit is 1000 mg\/kg HBCDD.
